User Management

The User Management module ensures secure and efficient access control within the Merchant Portal. It allows merchants to assign roles, define permissions, and monitor user activities, ensuring that each team member has the appropriate level of access. With a structured role-based access control system, businesses can manage operations securely while maintaining accountability.

Merchants can assign multiple roles to each user, determining their level of access to various portal functions. For example, the available roles cover key operational responsibilities:

  • Agreements Operator handles merchant agreements and related administrative tasks.

  • Payments User can process transactions, with an option to include or exclude access to financial reports.

  • Payments Supervisor oversees payment operations and user permissions.

  • Reports User has access to detailed financial reports and analytics.

The role-based access control framework ensures that users only have access to the sections necessary for their work, reducing security risks while optimizing workflow efficiency.

The User Management interface provides a structured view of all registered users, displaying key information such as name, email address, assigned roles, account status, and the date of account creation. A search function allows filtering users by name or role, making it easy to locate specific accounts. The system supports efficient navigation with pagination, allowing merchants to manage large user lists effectively.

Merchants can add new users, update existing user roles, and deactivate accounts when necessary. Each user has an Active or Inactive status, ensuring clear visibility of account availability. A dedicated action menu provides access to key management functions, including role modifications and user deactivation.

To ensure compliance and transparency, all user activities are logged and timestamped. This includes role modifications, transaction handling, and report access. By maintaining a comprehensive audit trail, businesses can track user actions, detect unauthorized activity, and strengthen overall system security.

The combination of role-based access control, real-time status management, and detailed audit logs provides merchants with a secure and structured approach to managing user access. These features ensure that operational risks are minimized while allowing teams to work efficiently within the portal.
