User Management

The User Management module in the Administration Portal provides Acquirer organizations with centralized control over user access and permissions. It ensures secure, role-based access to the portal’s functionality, enabling administrators to manage users efficiently while maintaining high standards of security and accountability.

Through a structured Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system, Acquirer administrators can assign roles, define user permissions, and monitor user activity. This ensures that each user has appropriate access according to their responsibilities, reducing security risks and supporting compliance with internal governance policies.

Roles can be customized to reflect key operational responsibilities within the Acquirer team. For example:

  • Merchant Manager: Handles merchant onboarding, agreements, and account configurations.

  • Fraud Analyst: Monitors transactions and applies fraud prevention rules.

  • Payments Supervisor: Oversees transaction monitoring and manages dispute resolution processes.

  • Reporting User: Accesses reports, dashboards, and analytics relevant to merchant or transaction performance.

The User Management interface offers a clear overview of all registered users, including essential details such as user roles, account status (active/inactive), and access rights. Administrators can easily search, filter, and update user profiles, enabling quick onboarding or deactivation of users as organizational needs change.

All activities within the portal—such as role changes, approvals, and fraud actions—are logged with timestamps in an audit trail, ensuring transparency and traceability. The portal enforces the four-eyes principle for critical actions, requiring dual approval for sensitive tasks like role modifications or fraud case management.

By combining controlled access, clear accountability, and comprehensive activity logging, the User Management module ensures secure, compliant, and efficient administration of user access within the Acquirer’s operational environment.
